LSP Recruit is an executive search firm. Our work depends on the trust of the candidates and clients we work with, and this notice explains how we handle personal information.
What we collect
For candidates, we collect professional information such as your name, contact details, career history, education, and any information you provide to us, including your resume. For clients and prospective clients, we collect business contact details and the information you share with us about your organization and hiring needs.
Where it comes from
Most of it comes directly from you. We also identify potential candidates through professional networking sites, our own network, and referrals. This means we may hold your professional profile before we have been in touch. If we do contact you and you would prefer we did not keep your details, just tell us.
How we use it
We use personal information to identify and assess candidates for the searches we are engaged on, to keep in touch about opportunities that may interest you and occasional updates on the job market, and to run our business. We never sell personal information. We keep information for as long as it remains useful for these purposes.
When we share it
We present a candidate’s profile to a client only after discussing the opportunity with the candidate and with their agreement. We also share information with the service providers that help us run LSP Recruit, such as email, document storage, our recruiting database, and technology tools. These providers act on our instructions and are required to protect your information. Some of them operate outside Canada, mainly in the United States, and while your information is there it is subject to the laws of that country. LSP Recruit remains responsible for your information wherever it is processed.
